Diptychs Union Carbide plant / Victims | India | 2008​ Pathologies of the victims are directly related to Union Carbide plant, repurchased by Dow Chemical, giant of petrochemistry (it had elsewhere gotten orange agent at the time of the war of Vietnam, with has lead similar congenital malformations on orange child…): the first generation underwent the toxic effects of escaped gas of tank 610. A better management of the plant and of its operations could have avoided the catastrophe, as a regular maintenance of the security systems… the second generation would have been partly saved by a cleaning up of the site, which the 2 industrial giants who are Union Carbide and Dow Chemical, has never agreed to set up. That makes 25 years that Union Carbide, then Dow Chemical kill in all impunity, by their irresponsibility… Until when? Still how much deaths ? Money issue ? Absence of judgement of Warren Anderson (chairman Union Carbide in 1984) ? Is an Indian worth less than an American people ?…
